The “Taoist Temple” is also a good place to drop by. One can see the entire city on top of the hill. Then rent a cab to “The Top” a small park on top of a mountain where one can spend a few hours while having a drink or two. During sunset and at night you can see glowing lights from the buildings and houses below the mountain.

Bohol: The Little Island Paradise in Philippines Tourist Spot

Bohol is one of the loveliest islands of the Philippines. It is full of diverse wildlife and lush green forests as well as blue beaches. Boracay Island is famous for its white sand beach, and also for the coral reefs and the sea creatures. It is an island of the Philippines located approximately 315 km (200 miles) south of Manila and 2 km off the northwest tip of Panay Island in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. The island comprises the barangays of Manoc-Manoc, Balabag, and Yapak (3 of the 17 barangays which make up the municipality of Malay), and is under the administrative control of the Philippine Tourism Authority in coordination with the Provincial Government of Aklan. In 1990, it was voted by the BMW Tropical Beach Handbook as one of the best beaches in the world and again in 1996 by British publication TV Quick as the world's number one tropical beach. Last Year, Yahoo announced that Boracay Beach is the most popular beach all over the world and the 7th best beach among beaches.

 

There is a beautiful beach on the west coast with very fine white sand, particularly near Balabag. The water is quite shallow, however. For snorkeling the east coast is better but beware of rips. There are scores of little sandy bays scattered around the island; they make an attractive alternative to the ever-popular White Beach.

up, make some coffee and decide whether to go sailing, windsurfing or perhaps snorkeling and looking at corals.
